The Yamoransa Model(YM) Lab 6 in Peki-Avetile, Volta Region is an educational lab equipped with educational content and multimedia as well as robotics and 3D printing hubs. This project is managed by IMPLEMENTERS and funded by the Friends of Yamoransa foundation, in partnership with Humphrey Ayim-Darke, Vice President of Association of Ghana Industries. This project aim is to support the enhancement of education.  This YM Lab will be commissioned on November 17, 2020.

In addition to consisting of a 40 seater ICT Lab, a maker space for Robotics, 3D printings, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), a conference room for training and workshops, the project has a system attached, that ensures that students are timed to use the facility. This system increases patronage figures and student motivation towards usage.

The lab will serve between 10 to 15 schools in the Peki South Dayi District as a way of enhancing practical education in the district and giving these schools an opportunity to practice what they are taught in class.

The decision to incorporate these outfits in the educational lab is based on research and extensive community engagements and stakeholder consultations done by IMPLEMENTERS, using the Yamoransa model as a process to identify the needs and necessities of the district for effective implementation of the project.
