The single ICT centre in Yamoransa, the central region of Ghana as part of the Yamoransa Model Labs has been upgraded into a resource center. The center now has a fully equipped ICT center, a home economics center, a makerspace and a conference room.

The project that started as only an ICT unit to promote ICT in Yamoransa now accommodates three other centres. IMPLEMENTERS, the project managers, carried out extensive consultations to determine the need of the community, which influenced the extra component additions to the project.

The project, funded by Helping Africa Foundation, now houses an upgraded ICT unit, a  makerspace for Robotics, 3D printing, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (AR), a conference centre and a Home Economics centre which houses both the catering and sewing unit.

The project is an effort to complement the theoretical educational system in the country with practical knowledge. The ICT centre will be rededicated to the people of Yamoransa on November 26th, 2020.
