Our focus on Agriculture & Technology is driven by the urgent need to address food security, poverty, and unemployment challenges while promoting sustainable agricultural practices. At IMPLEMENTERS, we believe that integrating technology and innovation into farming methods is crucial for increasing agricultural productivity, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Through our flagship sub-project, the Agriculture and Technology Integrated (AGRITAP) Project, we aim to revolutionize farming practices and empower farmers and youths. By incorporating cutting-edge technologies, we will enhance crop yields, improve animal production, and create sustainable livelihoods. AGRITAP encompasses three phases, each with a specific goal and measurable outcomes.
By 2050, the global population is projected to reach 9 billion, and our strategic focus aligns with SDG 2: Zero Hunger, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By integrating technology across the entire agricultural value chain, from farm to fork, we foster long-term productivity while minimizing environmental impact.
Our comprehensive strategy involves collaboration among government and non-governmental agencies, diplomatic missions and charitable institutions, commercial farms, and educational institutions. We will build the capacities of commercial farms with technology, provide practical training to youths, and facilitate their absorption into the workforce through internships and the National Service Scheme (NSS).
